Optimalisasi kader kesehatan dalam rangka peningkatan kualitas sumberdaya melalui screening PTM di wilayah Babarsari

Abstract

Background: Early detection of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) is an effort to identify risk factors or health problems early. NCD control efforts are built on a shared commitment from all elements of society concerned about the threat of NCDs through the PTM Posbindu (Non-Communicable Disease Posts), which play a role in community participation in early detection and monitoring of key NCD risk factors, implemented in an integrated, routine, and periodic manner.

The purpose of this activity is to improve the capacity of health cadres in carrying out their roles in the NCD program.

The activity method involved training cadres on NCD screening with a sample of 20 respondents.

The results resulted in the formation of a health cadre team at the Wira Husada Health College (STIKES), consisting of 12 students from the undergraduate nursing program, 3 students from the undergraduate public health program, 2 students from the blood bank technology program, and 3 students from the D3 nursing program.

Conclusion: Of the 20 participants, 15 passed the selection process, while 5 (from the blood bank technology program and the D3 nursing program) did not pass the selection process because the training coincided with clinical practice in the field.
