ANALISIS DIMENSI INPUT DALAM PELAKSANAAN PROTOKOL PENCEGAHAN COVID-19 DI DESTINASI WISATA KABUPATEN PEKALONGAN

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that occurred for almost 1 year in this period had a tremendous impact on all conditions in all parts of the world including one of them in the development of the world of Indonesian tourism. The world of tourism is required to be able to deal with this pandemic by implementing the appropriate and disciplined Covid-19 prevention protocol. Purpose of study was to explore input based dimension of the implementation of the COVID-19 prevention protocol in Pekalongan regency tourist destinations.This study used an exploratory research design with a qualitative approach supported by statistical data with triangulation of sources. Key informan in research is manager of a tourist destination as many as 8 people with accompanying informant from Satgas Covid-19 Kab. Pekalongan and domestic tourist who visit these tourist sites as triangulaton informan. In general, based on the input dimensions in the implementation of the Covid-19 prevention protocol, tourism facilities have been fulfilled by tourism managers, marked by the availability of facilities such as hand washing equipment, thermogun, banners calling for distance, Then a re-allocation of the budget is also carried out in order to fulfill these facilities and infrastructure, such as the fulfillment of routine disinfection at public facilities at tourist sites. According to a number of informants, the technical method of implementing the health protocol is by measuring body temperature when tourists enter tourist sites, requiring tourists to wear masks, putting up covid alert banners and 3M appeals. Basically, almost all tourism managers, seen from the input dimension, have been fulfilled and implemented tourist destination health protocols in accordance with the guidelines from the central, provincial and related agencies, but what needs to be improved is the discipline of managers and visitors / tourists to participate in preventing Covid-19 by strictly enforce health protocols
