PENYULUHAN METODE DETEKSI PENYAKIT HIPERTENSI KEPADA MAHASISWA STIKES WIRA HUSADA YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
Blood Donation, a social activity held voluntarily and conducted to meet the need for blood, is a voluntary activity. Blood can be donated if the donor selection process passes. Many incidents result in failed blood donations, one of which is a non-communicable disease, namely hypertension. Hypertension is a disease that occurs in the body and often has no symptoms. According to the latest information, individuals who frequently experience hypertension can also experience it in productive-age individuals. The purpose of this activity was to provide students of Wira Husada Health College Yogyakarta with knowledge about hypertension detection methods. The community service team provided information on detecting non-communicable, asymptomatic diseases that can lead to failed blood donations, namely hypertension detection. The audience learned about the tools and materials used, and the mechanisms of hypertension screening methods.
