Penyuluhan dan Pemeriksaan Kesehatan Mengenai Faktor-Faktor Keberhasilan Donor Terhadap Calon Pendonor Darah
Abstract
The requirements to become a blood donor that must be met are being physically and mentally healthy, having normal blood pressure, and not suffering from high-risk diseases such as HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, Syphilis, Heart, Liver, Lung, Kidney, Diabetes, Seizures, Cancer or Chronic Skin Diseases. Blood donation services are carried out by the Indonesian Red Cross. Blood donation is a social activity carried out voluntarily and has the function of improving the health of the donor's body and being able to save others who need blood. Donated blood will then be stored in a blood bank and will be given to those in need through blood transfusions. The Babarsari community is part of the community classified as productive age, it is mandatory to know the need for blood and be able to meet these blood needs as prospective blood donors. The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge about the requirements for blood donation and hemoglobin level examination as one of the factors for successful blood donation. The counseling conducted by the community service team is to broaden the community's insight into the requirements for passing blood donation through hemoglobin examination.
